Why does the Electric Trim not work?

The Piper Cherokees have an electric trim on/off switch directly under the pilot’s control yoke. Check this switch. Someone has likely pushed the switch and disengaged the electric trim. This switch appears to be sticking out further when off. When on it is almost flush with the panel. The electric trim does have a circuit breaker as well so you should check that too. If the breaker has tripped, you may not want to reset it in flight in case there was some kind of issued that caused it to trip. you probably want to stay on manual use of the trim wheel and investigate on the ground.
